A new "Red" Pad has been developed over the past months and has now been launched. It can be seen in action on the Equissage stand at HOYS next week. There you will be able to see for your self just how much improved this Pad is.
Having been part of the development and trialling process we can say that Equissage is now even more a must-have piece of equipment.
♦ With a split battery pack the Pad is very balanced and remains square on the horse's back, even with fidgety horses.
♦ The Pad fits more snug against the horse's sides
♦ Higher breastplate position
♦ Quieter running
♦ No need to physically apply the hand unit to the legs as leg boots connect to main battery pack. This is a major improvement as not only does it means 2 legs can be treated at the same time but, provided a horse is ok with the equipment, no-one needs to physically apply the hand unit to the legs - a huge saving in time.
♦ Easier charging - no need to keep removing the battery pack (although you can if you wish).
♦ Easier, wipe-clean fabric.
Making Equissage part of your daily management routine will help prevent injuries, enhance performance and facilitate healing as it delivers unique, powerful cycloidal vibrations which penetrates throught the superficial layer of muscles into the deeper ones below.
Equissage is of so much benefit to a horse that every yard should have one. If you are not familiar with how much its use can help your horse then you should pay a visit to the Equissage website or ring the advice line to see exactly what it can do for your horse both in terms of health and well-being + all the ailments it can help with. This photo shows one leg boot in use; there is a splitter at the rear of the Pad which allows a second leg boot to be attached if required. Of course the boots can also be used on the hind legs.
